The final stop of CHEW tour Italia saw Layman and Rob heading to Treviso for a presentation and Q&A at a packed house at the Spago Paraggi art gallery, moderated and translated by Michele Foschini of BAO Publishing (publishers of CHEW: MENU DEGUSTAZIONE*). In the background, is the gallery's current exhibition, photographs of deceased 80s Italian porn star Moana Pozzi.
And some shots of lovely Treviso:

And Layman survived the very, very excellent Emerald City Comic Con, vowing never to miss another. A lot of great fans introduced themselves, including Steve Moles, who is daring/insane enough to be the first person to get a CHEW tattoo (or, at least, to make it known to us.) His a picture of his tattoo, the Gallsaberry alien fruit, in all its tattoo-y glory:
Here's the just-solicted cover to #12, coming in June, and the #13 cover we debuted at the show.
Layman returns to his old stomping grounds and favorite city in the world for Emerald City Comic Con, March 13th and 14th. Find him at the Image Booth, table 306, and discover for yourself just how unpleasant a comic creator can be!
"This issue is kind of nuts, but I mean that in the best way possible."
"There's so much to gush about this series at this point that it's starting to feel somewhat ridiculous, yet the creators continue to churn out new and exciting concepts month after month, so, alas, the heaping of praise must continue."
"This issue helps further solidify this title as one of the most well put together and cleverly designed books on the market, using prologues, flashbacks, story cuts, and artistic subtleties to tell a devestatingly effective story."
"This book is far from perfect, but it deserves points for overall improvement. "
Tony Chu is a cop with a secret. A weird secret. Tony Chu is Cibopathic, which means he gets psychic impressions from whatever he eats. It also means he's a hell of a detective, as long as he doesn't mind nibbling on the corpse of a murder victim to figure out whodunit, and why. It`s a dirty job, and Tony has to eat terrible things in the name of justice. And if that wasn`t bad enough, the government has figured out Tony Chu`s secret. They have plans for him… whether he likes it or not. Presenting the Harvey award and multiple Eisner award winning, New York Times Best Selling series about cops, crooks, cooks, cannibals and clairvoyants, written by JOHN LAYMAN (Detective Comics, Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness, Marvel Identity Wars annuals and PUFFED) with mind-blowing art by ROB GUILLORY.
